The Herb of Immortality: Gynostemma pentaphyllum, otherwise known as Jiaogulan, is a plant that grows wild in China and is sometimes called the Southern Ginseng because it grows in South Central China and is used in similar ways as Ginseng.

Becaus of it's high saponin content, Jiaogulan is an amazing adaptogen, allowing the body to adapt to stress.

Jiaogulan is used for treating high cholesterol, high blood pressure, & improving heart function. It is also used to strengthen the immune system, increase stamina & indurance, increase resistance to enviornmental stress (as an adaptogen), improve memory, and preventing hair loss. Several studies have shown that Jiaogulan can help control type 2 diabetes, and other animal based studies have shown that it can help with asthma.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine the qualities of jiaogulan are described as sweet, slightly bitter, neutral, warm, enhancing “yin” and supporting “yang,” and would be used to increase resistance to infection and to reduce inflammation.

    • Bottle Size:

Customers Can Choose Between 1mL and 4mL Bottles. The bottles are amber glass and have an orifice reducer in the bottle that creates a built-in dropper. The black cap screws on over the top of that, creating an air-tight seal.

To remove the product from the bottle, unscrew the black cap, turn the product upside down, and use a finger to tap the bottle once for each desired drop to be released. When the bottle is upside down, product will only be released if it is tapped. So the number of taps will equal the number of drops.

1mL Bottle contains roughly 20 drops.

4mL Bottle contains rougly 80-90 drops.
