This Oregon Grape Root Spagyric Tincture is made with the root of the Oregon Grape plant. Mahonia aquifolium is also known as holly-leaf barberry, mountain grape, Oregon barberry, blue barberry, or holly Mahonia. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane and/or Honey Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped.
Historically, Oregon Grape Root has been used for fever, arthritis, jaundice, diarrhea, to stimulate appetite, as a substitute for goldenseal, colds, flu, herpes, hepatitis, syphilis, stomach upset, skin disorders, yeast infections, eye infections, acne, and athlete's foot. In TCM it is known as Eleigang Putao or Gong Lao Mu, and has historically been used for stomach cramping, heartburn, bloating, constipation, bloody stools, abdominal pain, restlessness, bleeding gums, psoriasis, skin infections, lethargy, depression, tuberculosis, coughs, periodontitis, dysentery, eczema, and wounds.
We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project.
