This humble cabin is where the Research Academy currently lives & breathes. Piece by piece, we are building our 10 acres into a home for Alchemical research, student lodging, greenhouses & more - giving us the infrastructure to share our work, create our products & educate students around the world!
We Are Purchasing A Tractor
We have a unique opportunity to purchase this well-maintained John Deere 5205 tractor and its collection of implements—including a front-end loader, pallet forks, plow, heavy roller, brush hog, rake & more — for $20,000. The owner is a friend of our neighbors who is moving this November and has offered us a great price on the entire package. That gives us until November 1st to raise as much as we can toward bringing this tractor home!
We're also raising $6,000 for an equipment trailer, allowing us to transport the tractor to our property and haul it for service when needed. This brings our total Tractor & Equipment Fund goal to $26,000.
For us, a tractor would fundamentally change what we're capable of doing on our property. Maintaining a mountainous, forested, off-grid property by hand is next to impossible, especially while running the Research Academy. This tractor would give us the equipment needed for:
- Road & driveway maintenance • Drainage & erosion repair • Dead tree removal • Firewood production • Forest & trail maintenance • Snow removal • River crossing maintenance • Construction & site work • Moving materials • Gardens & cultivation • And SO much more!
Having this capability on the land will be invaluable as we build toward our larger vision: a fully functioning off-grid Alchemical Laboratory, student lodging, greenhouses, and the infrastructure needed to host future immersions and expand our Spagyric, Alchemical & Wellness research.
