The Akebia Vine is a twining, ever-green vine that can grow up to 30 feet. Commonly known as Chocolate Vine or Five-Leaf Akebia, the stem is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine as Mu Tong.
Historically Akebia has been used to prevent cancer, urinary conditions, diabetes, and mental disorders. It has also been used to support male and female reproductive health, and improve circulation and digestive wellness. The fruit of the Akebia plant has been used in TCM to treat urinary tract infections, scanty lactation, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane and/or Honey Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture is made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped.
We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project.
