This Sumatran Benzoin Spagyric Tincture is made with the resin from the Styrax Benzoin tree. Styrax Benzoin-Sumatra is also known as gum benjamin tree, loban, or kemenyan. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane and/or Honey Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped.
Historically, Sumatran Benzoin has been used for clearing energy, incense, arthritis, bronchitis, coughing, laryngitis, and stress, to alleviate sadness and depression, boost mood, for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, and as a skin protectant. In TCM it is known as An Xi Xiang, and has been used for the Heart, Liver and Spleen meridians, disinfectant properties, loss of consciousness, abdominal pain, chest pain, skin disorders including shingles and ringworm, to increase the flow of qi and blood, open the orifices, and stimulate the circulatory system.
We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project.
