This is a Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) Spagyric Tincture, not to be confused with our Baikal Skullcap Spagyric Tincture (Scutellaria baicalensis).
This Skullcap Spagyric Tincture is made with the Skullcap plant. Scutellaria lateriflora is also known as blue skullcap, mad dog skullcap or side-flowering skullcap. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane and/or Honey Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped.
Historically, Skullcap has been used to reduce anxiety, soothe the nervous system, lower cholesterol, balance hormones, detoxify the body, for diabetes, weight loss, inflammation, and sleep regulation. In TCM it is known as Huang Qin or Ban Zhi Lian, and has historically been used for spasms, nervous tension, palpitations, cardiac pains, rabies, tetanus, neuralgia, paralysis caused by stroke, irregular menses, insomnia, improve appetite, fatigue, urinary dysfunction, snakebite, rashes, and insect bites.
We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
We aim to begin using IDF Analysis to provide IDF data of the detected phytochemicals and uses of each of our items of Spagyric Pharmacopoeia. Purchases of this product help to fund this enormous research project.
