My wife, Norianna and I moved off grid to our slice of paradise in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia in early November 2024. After the massive cross country trek and 3 full days of unloading the moving truck load by load into our Ford F-150 across the river, it took us about 2 months to full unpack the new home and office and get fully settled in. Just in time, because shortly after we arrived the winter snows started and didn't let up until March. We arrived to WV just in time to experience the harshest winter the area has had in over a decade. Lucky us!
Some of the challenges we faced upon moving in are as follows and is by no means an exhaustive list:

Insufficient solar power to run IDF Equipment and Computers, let alone internet or office

High levels of dirty EMF’s from inverter; so we decided to live mostly without electricity and run just oil lamps at night

High Rivers prevented us from leaving; Combined with -18*F temps, ATV wheels froze while driving and caused engine to seize

Frozen Pipes, and then broken incoming water line = no running water for a week

Broken Check Valve from our water tank

Flue Fire + Buildup of Creosote

Replacement of both Kitchen Faucets due to leaks and replacement of P-Traps and under-sink plumbing

We have been getting to know the ecosystem out here and learning the plants, trees, fungi, stones, animals, waters, telluric entities and other aspects of our environment. There is a LOT to learn, but there are TONS of medicines everywhere out here.
To our surprise, there was room for our entire Herbal Apothecary, Spagyric Apothecary, and more. As a result, we worked hard to get open ASAP, which was in mid January. We have now had the apothecary and online sales open for 6 months.
I’m working on finishing the Spagyric Tincture research and compiling the data for the book. Though the method is solid, I realized that there is some more research I would like to complete before finishing the book to avoid needing a second edition any time soon. Further stumbling blocks popped up including extremely dangerous Electrical Fields preventing me from using the computer much (which is now solved just 1 day before recording this video). I also needed a lab to work some of these things out and we just got a little lab area set up last month.
After I conquered our electrical woes (which were multitudinous and not easy to figure out), I was able to get SE-5’s and my Broadcast Station set up. We released some of our Advanced IDF Solutions for CHI-O instruments and we’ve been developing these so we can also provide these solutions for U-QI instruments. As of the time of writing this, U-Qis are now available! I am continuing to develop Broadcast Protocols, Advanced IDF Solutions, and more that are used specifically for Aurelian Medicine
I’ve been expanding Aurelian Medicine Theory, Philosophy, and Practices a LOT. A big inspiration in the development of Aurelian Medicine has been Dr. Paul Eck's work of Mineral Balancing. Nori and I are both undergoing Mineral Balancing and Detox Protocols right now and are seeing big gains through this protocol. Naturally, I’m incorporating what I am learning about Mineral Balancing into Aurelian Medicine (as parts of Ens Naturale and Ens Veneni) and also developing complimentary IDF protocols to enhance the efficacy.
Furthermore, since our Spagyric Tincture Research is essentially at an end, I have decided that we will stop producing Spagyric Tinctures for research purposes; we have several single-herb Spagyric Tinctures we will continue producing as products, but I am moving towards making Spagyric Formulations designed to eliminate various Entia and Sub-Entia that will all be imprinted with IDF tunings. This will be the next phase of the Phoenix Aurelius Research Academy offerings. In the future, all of our products, services, etc; will all converge within the context of Aurelian Medicine. Clients will be able to get analysis done, choose spagyric remedies, additional supplements, and/or IDF Solutions designed to address the philosophic imbalances detected. Once this is up and running, I will be able to begin training students in the theory and practice of Aurelian Medicine.
In terms of new formulae and Single Herb Spagyric Tinctures, Nori and I have decided that we’re not going to bottle things to order with the new products. They will be made, then bottled, labeled, and stocked on the shelves ready to ship. This is because we live in too remote a place and have too small a workspace to hire employees for the time being and we’re already both very overworked. As a result, when we make a new product, they will be immediately bottled, labeled, and made ready to ship. This has an awesome impact for our customers in that product fulfillment times will be FAR less.
I’ve been developing Alchemi-Culture education ideas (since Alchemi-Culture is equally as important as Aurelian Medicine) and also coming up with some great education ideas on all sorts of topics. Those of you who have followed my work since I started in 2005 know that education is my real passion. Everything else is just footwork to ensure that education is correct. While Aurelian Medicine will definitely be a major focus of the education I provide, I’ll be offering some fun ideas that help us to make our entire modus operandi of current civilization nearly obsolete. Like Buckminster Fuller suggested, for over 20 years, I’ve been philosophizing about the aspects of our culture that really need to transform if we want to consciously evolve our species to its next state so as to make the current model obsolete. And of course, I’m still planning on continuing the Alchemi-Culture Podcast
Now I know a lot of you are wondering about our spot and our gardens. Our spot is nothing short of magical and we have lots of building space, gardening space, and space for Forest Farming. As any good Permaculture designer, we’ve been observing the location for an entire agricultural season before doing anything to permanent the land. We just purchased a 30 foot greenhouse to grow citrus, moringa, avocados, and a bunch of subtropical herbs and produce all year long with no additional energy input besides what Nature provides. We’re using Chads Midgley’s “Hobbit Hole Greenhouse” ideas and synthesizing this with our Alchemi-Culture Agricultural Applications to take things to the next level. That said, caring for a property this size and doing the things we’re doing takes a lot of tools and machinery. While we have most of the tools already, we still need a tractor and a bush hog, we need to hire some excavation work to be done, we need a very decent amount of gravel, we need to construct a large composting facility, we need to build or purchase a biogas plant, and more....
Furthermore, we decided that it would be prudent for us and less expensive to turn the current house into the lab and business facility - but to do this, we need to build out our new house. We’ll be doing this within the context of Building Biology and building with sustainable, natural solutions. We’re borrowing from multiple different styles of sustainable shelter building, including earth ships, etc; but we’ll have lots of functions to the house, including serving as a Paramagnetic monument to aid the fertility of the land, but also planning on building an astronomical observatory, lookout tower, and more.
We’re at a crossroads right now, though. In order to begin purchasing the equipment we need and to get other projects going, we need to bring in some serious income. Since I have a minimal lab right now, we aren’t able to bring in lots of money through wholesale clients like we usually have done. Yet, we have millions of dollars of products sitting on our shelves and so we just need to sell through these products which will help us raise some of the money we need to further other projects. We still have hundreds of different Spagyric Tinctures on our shelves and all the space they take up doesn’t leave room for new products or formulations that I’ve been developing. We have some of the most potent and unique medicines available from the last 5+ years. Many of the herbs I worked on are extremely useful and potent, but they’re not the herbs you usually hear about because columnists haven’t turned them into trendy solutions yet.
Starting on the Summer Solstice, we will have some ongoing blowout sales until we clear out at least 80% of the current inventory. I’ll be making some short videos and posts about some of the coolest products we have in stock that you probably don’t even know about or how to use (which is why these products are still on our shelves).
It is my hope that you will help us sell our current inventory and help us raise the funds we need while simultaneously helping clear space for our upcoming products.
Lastly, Nori and I have decided to re-incorporate our business as a Private Member Association and register as a Non-Profit Spiritual Organization (501. This will protect the future of Aurelian Medicine and Alchemi-Culture and it will also protect our land and everything we’re working so hard for by establishing a land trust, a business trust, and more. It will be a little while until we are able to make the complete switch, but we’re working on it.
