This Chinese Licorice Root (Honey-Fried) Spagyric Tincture is made with the honey-fried root of the Chinese Licorice plant. Glycyrrhiza uralensis is also known as sweet root or gancao. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane and/or Honey Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture was made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped.
Historically, and in TCM (known as Zhi Gan Cao), Honey-Fried Chinese Licorice Root has been used to clear excess heat associated with hormone imbalances, increase circulation, release damaged tissue, soothe inflammation, tonify qi, benefit the gall bladder, heart, kidney, large intestine, liver, lung, pericardium, small intestine, spleen, stomach, triple heater and urinary bladder channels, and exhibit sweet (gan) and warm (wen) taste/temperature properties.
We make no claims as to the uses or efficacy of this product. There may be an enormous difference between what the herb has historically been used for and how any particular Spagyric Preparation of the herb can be used.
